Humans were not made to live this way
To rush from Monday to Sunday. To consume others’ lives on a screen while our own slips away. To live with the constant feeling that we are late for something we don’t even know what it is.
We are designed for a different pace. Slower, more conscious. To contemplate. To create. To connect with what is happening inside us before it becomes noise.
A Coffee With You is born from that intuition: we need to return to a more human pace. And it is also born from a professional certainty: psychology, combined with art and culture, transforms in a way that no motivational reel can.

Why does guided self-help with a scientific basis work?
Practices designed so that learning doesn’t remain theoretical, but so you integrate the tools and apply them in your daily life.
Therapeutic writing changes the brain and body
Writing about what we think, feel, and experience is not just a creative activity. Research in expressive writing, initiated by psychologist James Pennebaker and supported by more than four decades of scientific studies, has shown that putting our experiences into words can have a significant impact on emotional well-being.
When we write in a guided way, we organize thoughts that were previously scattered, make sense of difficult experiences, and process emotions that often remain blocked or unexpressed. This usually translates into a reduction in anxiety, a decrease in mental rumination, greater clarity for making decisions, and a deeper sense of self-understanding.
Art regulates the nervous system
45 minutes of creative activity can significantly reduce cortisol, one of the main hormones related to stress.
A synthesis of nine studies with 754 participants found significant therapeutic effects on anxiety, depression, and fatigue.
You don’t have to be an “artist”.
Fiction trains empathy and self-knowledge
People who read fiction frequently often show greater social skills and a greater capacity for perspective-taking.
Fiction activates cognitive and emotional mechanisms similar to those of real experiences, creating safe spaces to process complex issues.
Slowing down is not laziness: it's medicine
Mindfulness practices help calm the nervous system, reduce physiological stress activation, and break worry loops.
A study published in Emotion found that many people prefer to stay distracted rather than sit alone with their thoughts.
This membership trains you to inhabit that stillness.
Beyond the studies, this is what happens
A real, guilt-free break
You have something concrete to do during your break, so you stop feeling like you “should be doing something else.”
Finer emotional vocabulary
You begin to name what you feel with more precision. And naming it is the first step to managing it.
Your cultural library
Films, books, and works that become your personal first-aid kit for difficult moments.
Less scrolling, more contemplation
You exchange screen time for presence time, effortlessly, because something more beautiful occupies that space.
Community without pretense
People with your sensibility, without algorithms in between. Real conversations about topics that matter.
Creativity as medicine
Writing, drawing, photographing, listening to music with intention. Things you did as a child that heal more than you remember.

Your weekend ritual
At your own pace, in your favorite spot, with your coffee or warm drink.
Imagine this moment
Friday afternoon. You prepare a coffee and sit in your favorite spot at home or go to a cafe in your city.
This week we explore loneliness.
You receive a brief psychology nugget, carefully selected and explained by a clinical psychologist: why loneliness hurts so much, what is the difference between being alone and feeling lonely, and what it reveals about our emotional needs and our relationship with ourselves.
Then, a film by Sofia Coppola. A painting by Hopper. A poem to accompany you. Three therapeutic writing questions that help you ground the ideas in your own life.
It’s not content to consume quickly or to mark as read. It’s an invitation to pause. To reflect. To listen to yourself.
Two hours later, something inside you feels more organized. You better understand what you feel. You discover an idea you hadn’t considered. You find words for an experience that was previously diffuse. You feel less alone in what you are experiencing.
That is A Coffee With You.
A weekly space to slow down, nurture your inner world, and dedicate a moment of guided reflection through psychology, literature, cinema, art, and writing.
This experience is designed for you if you recognize yourself in any of these statements:
— “I go so fast that I barely find moments to listen to myself.”
— “I know I need to stop, reflect, and take care of my inner world, but I always put it off.”
— “I want to grow and know myself better, but without falling into self-demand or the obsession with constantly ‘improving myself’.”
— “Books, films, art, and good conversations teach me more about life than most quick internet tips.”
— “I’m interested in psychology, but I’m looking for a deep, human, and rigorous perspective, not superficial content or empty motivational phrases.”
— “I enjoy introspection, writing, and spaces that invite calm thinking.”
— “I miss meaningful conversations about topics that truly matter: love, identity, loneliness, relationships, the meaning of life.”
— “I’m looking for an intimate and nurturing space, where I feel accompanied without the pressure or constant noise of social media.”
— “I want to incorporate small moments of reflection and self-care into my week in a simple and sustainable way.”
— “I feel there are important questions about my life that deserve more time and attention than I’m giving them.”
If you nodded while reading several of these sentences, it is very likely that this space was created for you.
Questions you might be asking yourself
What is the difference between this and therapy?
A Coffee With You is guided self-help with a scientific basis, not clinical therapy. It is a space for accompanied personal growth, but it does not replace an individual therapeutic process. If you are going through a difficult time, I always encourage you to seek professional support. This membership can be a valuable complement.
How much time do I need to dedicate per week?
Between 15 minutes and two hours, depending on how deeply you wish to delve.
What if I can't do it one week?
It’s okay. Everything is saved in your library. You can retrieve it whenever you want.
Do I need to know how to draw or write well?
No. The practices are designed for anyone, without any prior skill. It is not an art workshop; it is a space to feel through doing.
Does this replace therapy?
No. A Coffee With You is a space for self-care and personal growth, not a clinical therapeutic process. If you are going through a difficult time, I always encourage you to seek professional support. This membership can be a beautiful complement, but not a replacement.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, without penalty or questions. Although I hope you stay for a long time.
When will I receive the first delivery?
If you subscribe today, you will receive your welcome letter within the next 24 hours and your first official delivery the following Friday.
It can be different
We live in a world that wants us fast, productive, and always connected to everything but ourselves. This membership is my way of saying: there is another way. Slower, deeper, more cultural. More human.
